{"id":6348,"date":"2020-11-15T17:53:13","date_gmt":"2020-11-15T16:53:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/?p=6348"},"modified":"2025-05-11T17:44:17","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T15:44:17","slug":"tomato-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/en\/2020\/11\/15\/tomato-soup\/","title":{"rendered":"Tomato soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Full of sunlight, colourful and comforting, here is the perfect autumn meal\u2026<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"csRow\">\n<div class=\"csColumn\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 37%;\" data-csstartpoint=\"0\" data-csendpoint=\"355\" data-cswidth=\"37.0%\" data-csid=\"d00bcc94-4af8-4199-a36e-4354a6d73202\">\n<p><strong>For 4 people<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1,2 kg <em>(2 lb, 7 oz)<\/em> of fresh tomatoes<br \/>\n(or canned peeled tomatoes)<\/li>\n<li>1 onion<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves<\/li>\n<li>1 celery stalk<br \/>\n(with leaves)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp of unrefined raw sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 vegetable stock cube<br \/>\n(or a roast gravy cube)<\/li>\n<li>1 can of tomato concentrate<br \/>\n(140g <em>(5 oz)<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp of vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp of nems sauce<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"csColumnGap\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 1.04%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/advanced-wp-columns\/assets\/js\/plugins\/views\/img\/1x1-pixel.png\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"csColumn\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 62%;\" data-csstartpoint=\"365\" data-csendpoint=\"960\" data-cswidth=\"62.0%\" data-csid=\"6da0d92b-c1e2-2d0b-9e36-0c0754722804\">\n<p>Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Scrape the flesh with a grater until only the skin is left and throw it away. (If you use canned peeled tomatoes, just coarsely mash them).<\/p>\n<p>In a large pan, brown the chopped onion, garlic and celery with some olive oil and the sugar.<\/p>\n<p>Add the tomato flesh, the concentrate, the stock cube, the vinegar and the nems sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Wet with \u00bd of water, and let simmer for half an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Blend the soup.
