{"id":6263,"date":"2020-09-08T22:11:16","date_gmt":"2020-09-08T20:11:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/?p=6263"},"modified":"2025-05-11T17:44:18","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T15:44:18","slug":"tyropitas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/en\/2020\/09\/08\/tyropitas\/","title":{"rendered":"Tyropitas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Allow the summer to last with those little Greek cheese turnovers.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have <a href=\"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/en\/2020\/08\/18\/mizithra-greek-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mizithra<\/a>, you can also use Feta\u2026<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"csRow\">\n<div class=\"csColumn\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 37%;\" data-csstartpoint=\"0\" data-csendpoint=\"355\" data-cswidth=\"37.0%\" data-csid=\"f2364536-06df-f722-9456-2f038a74e0c8\">\n<p><strong>For 20 pieces<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 filo pastry sheets<\/li>\n<li>200g<em> (7 oz)<\/em> of <a href=\"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/en\/2020\/08\/18\/mizithra-greek-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mizithra<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>1 pinch of fleur de sel<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp of olive oil<\/li>\n<li>2 mint sprigs<\/li>\n<li>50g<em> (1\/4 cup)<\/em> of melted butter<\/li>\n<li>Thyme honey<\/li>\n<li>Sesame seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"csColumnGap\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 1.04%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/advanced-wp-columns\/assets\/js\/plugins\/views\/img\/1x1-pixel.png\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"csColumn\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 62%;\" data-csstartpoint=\"365\" data-csendpoint=\"960\" data-cswidth=\"62.0%\" data-csid=\"2266c5a5-c374-3ab5-b9a3-abd053e86cb5\">\n<p>In a bowl, lightly beat the egg with a fork, then mix with the olive oil, the <a href=\"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/en\/2020\/08\/18\/mizithra-greek-cheese\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mizithra<\/a>, the pinch of Fleur de sel and the finely chopped mint.<\/p>\n<p>Cut the filo pastry sheets in four strips.<\/p>\n<p>Brush each strip with the melted butter, then drop a tsp of cheese filling at one end and fold over the pastry sheet in triangle shape, again and again to another end. Tyropitas will be then well closed.<\/p>\n<p>Place the tyropitas on a baking sheet, brush them with the rest of the butter and bake in preheated oven at 180\u00b0C <em>(350\u00b0F)<\/em>, for about 15 minutes, until they are golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Serve lukewarm with a drizzle of honey.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy as appetizer or with a salad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Plate: Naxos @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bernardaud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bernardaud<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Allow the summer to last with those little Greek cheese turnovers.
