Lemon verbena had the time to soak up the sun all summer long and it still brings a breath of fresh scented green air in the gardens.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the perfect time to pick it and turn it into a liquor that will be ready to help you digest deliciously on Christmas\u2026<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"csRow\">\n<div class=\"csColumn\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 37%;\" data-csstartpoint=\"0\" data-csendpoint=\"355\" data-cswidth=\"37.0%\" data-csid=\"e8884856-4734-1d2c-a4d9-cc0eb55032fd\">\n<p><strong>For 1 litre<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1l <em>(4 cups)<\/em> of 45\u00b0 alcohol for fruits<\/li>\n<li>80 leaves of lemon verbena<\/li>\n<li>120g <em>(2\/3 cup)<\/em> of granulated sugar<br \/>\n(or more, depending on personal tastes)<\/li>\n<li>50ml <em>(3 tbsp)<\/em> of water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"csColumnGap\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 1.04%;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/les-petits-bonheurs.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/advanced-wp-columns\/assets\/js\/plugins\/views\/img\/1x1-pixel.png\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"csColumn\" style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: left; width: 62%;\" data-csstartpoint=\"365\" data-csendpoint=\"960\" data-cswidth=\"62.0%\" data-csid=\"2758e538-e563-ff0b-aaf8-e390460d87f2\">\n<p>Wash and dry the leaves of lemon verbena before putting them in alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>Let infuse for a month, away from light, and shake the bottle regularly.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the leaves and filter the alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>In a pan, bring to boil the sugar and the water to obtain a syrup, then pour it into the alcohol.
